– Taruh kain di permukaan datar dan lipat sedikit salah satunya
– Letakkan bayi pada lipatan selimut, pastikan kedua tangan bayi berada di bawah dan mengapit tubuhnya
– Tarik sudut selimut dekat lengan kiri, kemudian selipkan sudut selimut tersebut di bawah sisi kanan tubuhnya (berikan sedikit kelonggaran agar bayi dapat bergerak)
– Putar atau lipat ujung bawah selimut tersebut dan selipkan ke bagian belakang bayi. Pastikan kedua kakinya agak menekuk ke atas, serta kaki dan pinggulnya dapat bebas bergerak.
